We've known him a long time, and he's very, very good. We had to get a new water softener, and none of them fit our existing plumbing. So, we had to do some rerouting. It was a big project. He does fabulously neat work. We bought the softener separate, and he connected the plumbing work. I think it was around 1100 and he'd given us a discount, it might've have been less. It had been a nightmare, I had came home to fix water softener. My husband had just put 160 pounds of salt into the salt tank and it no longer recycled. I'm not complaining about it because it was 48 years old. It was convenient. I came home to those two things and the rats in my dishwasher. All this in a month. I like the quality of his work and precision. My husband was a mechanical inspector for a nuclear power plant. So, you know if you're a fraction of a millimeter off of anything off, everything has to be 1001% perfect. He was born a perfectionist to start with. He was more than satisfied. He very good. It was a nightmare kind of thing that had to be done in the space we had. It was a very nice price if you had to have it done. It's just fabulous. Me and my husband talked extensively. He would be our first choice.

I am writing a review for work done this summer - sorry for really late review. Estimating cost but pretty close. Anyway, Dave is the man. I was selling my parents home and needed to remove knarly old non-working metal shower. He showed up on time ready to go. Shut off water and capped off existing water lines. Removed unused shower water lines and took apart old metal shower. Left floor drain pipe at appropriate height - ready for trim ring. Took about 3 hours of work start to finish - working whole time. Great job start to finish. Will call him again for future work.

Description of work: Dave replaced my 19 year old 40 gallon water heater with a new 50 gallon water heater. The last plumber made many mistakes with my hook up. The gas pipe to the water heater wasn't installed properly and wasn't up to code. The shut off valve was in the wrong spot on the gas pipe. The overflow pipe was made of plastic when it should have been copper. The old water heater wasn't balanced and thus the vent pipe on the top of the water heater was at an angle. Dave was great! He explained everything that he was going to do and why it needed to be done. Dave was very professional, punctual, and knowledgeable. He answered every question we had. When he was finished he again showed us what he had done and showed us how to operate the new water heater. He was very orderly and cleaned up everything. We are planning an addition and he definitely will be doing our plumbing! I highly recommend him. His estimate and final price were right on target.

We had a major leak into our living room and assumed it was because of the washing machine upstairs. Dave was called on a Saturday and returned the call the next day. He came out on Monday and asked leading questions to diagnose the problem, rather than going on our uneducated assumptions. Luckily, it was the toilet in the master bath and not a main line as we originally suspected. He offered to replace the bolts on the leaking tank and cross our fingers that solved the problem. We opted to have him replace the entire toilet (he suspected a possible crack in the tank) rather than take the chance. He ordered us a new toilet and fixed the problem that was causing the leaking. Through out every encounter with Dave we felt informed and comfortable with heading his recommendations. As a small business owner ourselves, it was refreshing to work with a gentleman that is running his business the right way; educating about his passion and treating his customers with respect and consideration. We are renting this property, but we will certainly be taking Dave's card with us into our new home!

Description of work: He fixed toilets, installed new piping and shut off for my washer connections that were in ba shape, worked on the kitchen faucet, replaced the front spigot for my hose ( difficult job because of a gas line in side the crawl space) along with a shut off valve, and replaced the valves on the water coming into the house with a shut off valve before and after the meter. He was here a long time.

On the receipt, he wrote a very detailed explanation of what he did both for himself so that he remembers exactly what he did and also for us so that we know exactly what he did. He was meticulously clean. He protected the floor, put his tools on towels, he had to take out our toilet and he put it on a turf in the bathroom. He just did a great job and I was very impressed.
