I received my initial recommendation from a fellow home school mom who had used him in the past. We had Dave out to remove our leaking water heater and install a new water heater. He gave me an initial quote over the phone sight unseen. I knew it would cost me more, because I knew I had some extra problems related to it that would need fixing while he was out. I knew the job would require more work time due to the extra problems they would incur. He and his apprentice were great, professional, thorough and neat. Neither stopped until they got the job done, and they did it correctly. I have been duped in the past by shoddy workmanship and high cost labor, but I was relieved to find that Dave's work was done well and not over priced. He was kind and courteous and even showed me how to ignite the new water heater. I am so satisfied with his work that I am having him quote two more jobs for us: burnt out ejector pump and leaking garbage disposal. From what Dave said, the initial installers didn't install either to code or correctly. He also gave us some great recommendations for other contractors that we will be needing service of in the near future. It was intuition to go with him after talking with him on the phone, and my intuition proved right. He never talked down to me. Great plumber and personality! Job well done!

I've used Dave's Plumbing twice now- to replace water supply valves to my washer and to install a new sump pump and replace a leaking valve to my humidifier. I LOVE his work - he is so attentive to every detail, takes great care of my house and does not leave until he has answered any questions and is sure I am happy with the work. He never cuts corners in his repairs, and does not mind me watching and asking endless questions. Just a fantastic guy to work with!

I needed the shutoff valves to my washer replaced because they were leaking slightly, and I was worried that a total failure would cause a huge mess. Dave was recommended to me by my HVAC servicer and by a happy customer of his. We set an appointment that worked for my schedule, and he showed up right on time. He checked out the valves, told me what he would recommend and the estimated cost, laid down his tarps and did a fantastic job installing new valves. He checked and double checked for any leaks, answered all my questions, cleaned up everything and galloped away. He is very thorough and very easy to work with, and his cost was very reasonable! I will definitely use him again.

"That's the difference with Dave"
"Unfortunately, discovered a water drip running down the face of our kitchen cabinet. Called Dave and he was out the next day. Turned out that the toilet was leaking at the wax ring (yuck). Many plumbers could have fixed the problem, but the way that Dave fixed it insures that it will not leak again, and if it does, the water will pool on the floor rather than drip down through the ceiling or wall. That's the difference with Dave. You can be assured that the job is fixed correctly the first time and whatever is fixed or replaced is most probably better than what you had before the fix."

Dave was out today to replace a garbage disposal that began to leak. I have used Dave exclusively many times over the past few years. First, Dave is a great person who happens to be a superb plumber. He is interested in solving your plumbing problem the best way possible, not in jacking up your bill as high as possible. Dave is honest, trustworthy, does excellent, clean, work that is up to code.
